Logan Webb halted the Braves' offense

Rookie Logan Webb allowed just two hits and one run in six innings, Evan Longoria drove in two runs with two hits and the San Francisco Giants beat Dallas Keuchel and the Atlanta Braves 4-1 on Sunday.

Tuning up the NL East champions for the playoffs, Braves manager Brian Snitker rested outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr., third baseman Josh Donaldson and second baseman Ozzie Albies. Albies had his second day off before reaching on a pinch-hit single in the ninth.

Webb (2-2) dominated in his seventh start, preventing the Braves from sweeping the three-game series in their final home game of the regular season at SunTrust Park.

Webb prescribed seven strikeouts. He opened the game with five scoreless innings before Adeiny Hechavarria tripled in the sixth and scored the Braves' only run on Freddie Freeman's grounder.

For the Giants, Honduran Mauricio Dubón 5-1, one scored.

For the Braves, the Cuban Hechaverría 4-1, one scored. The Venezuelan Francisco Cervelli 1-0. MLB
