Webster Rivas was one of the dominant figures in this Tuesday's match between Delfines de La Guaira and Caciques de Distrito.
The Dominican catcher hit a home run in the ninth inning that turned out the lights at the Estadio Universitario in Caracas.
In a post-match interview for the Delfines de La Guaira press team, Rivas assured that the team remains focused on the goal.
“It was wonderful to be able to get the victory, we continue working focused and trying to swing the ball more”, he assured.
"We have to keep working, the important thing at the end of the day is that the team win and that's why we're here."
The catcher also indicated that in each outing to the plate he tries to be forceful and hit the ball, "Be aggressive at the plate and wait for a good pitching to be able to hit it hard."
