With a torrid offensive of 13 hits Caciques de Distrito defeated Marineros de Carabobo 7-3 this Friday to divide honors in the series of two commitments that was played in the UCV park
Eudis Idrogo pitched 5.0 solid innings, allowing just five hits and one run, drawing two walks and striking out three to ultimately claim his first win of the season. His ERA improved to 3.00.
Distrito cracked opener González Germen early in the game and backed up Idrogo early in the second inning with two RBI runs from Jeckson Flores and Robinson Cabrera.
After the Mariners discounted in the top of the fourth, they made themselves felt again, this time with a four-run run that made the score 6-1. Dennicher Carrasco took to the streets for the eighth time this season and Humberto Arteaga and Teodoro Martínez contributed two hits.

Caciques put the icing on the cake in the fifth with a brace from César Ortega. Marineros tried to react in the sixth, but they could only make two stripes and Gonzalez Germen ended up suffering his third setback of the year.
