Lions leave Yosmany Guerra for Carlos Sepulveda

The Caracas Lions included Mexican Carlos Sepulveda on the roster to replace Cuban Yosmany Guerra, for the closing of the Round Robin.

Guerra was the second best average of the Caracas Leones during the regular season and the second best of the imported ones in the LVBP behind Alejandro De Aza.

For his part, Sepulveda has just finished the season in Mexico and posted a .280 average, with 6 homers, 22 RBIs and 31 runs scored.

«Today Sepúlveda will enter instead of Guerra. We must remember that the Antillean is 38 years old and has to have his day off, "said the Lions Sports Manager.

Notably, the Lions are last in the semifinals and there are few options to qualify for the finals.
