The Venezuelan Edward Olivares, of the Kansas City Royals, hit a pair of homers on Saturday night against the Oakland Athletics.
According to Baseball Savant, Olivares' first home run of the year registered an exit velocity of 108 miles per hour and traveled 430 feet.

Later, the man from Caracas repeated the dose of power against Cole Irvin, starter for the Athletics.

The Venezuelan outfielder seems to have left behind the soreness in his right quadriceps, which landed him on the disabled list and kept him off the field since May 8.

The home runs of the young man from Caracas, 26 years old, served for the Royals to stay (3 to 1) with the victory.
This season, Edward Olivares is batting .366 and to date has driven in five runs.
