The Venezuelan Eduardo Rodríguez (E-Rod), starter of the Detroit Tigers, received punishment this Thursday from the Seattle Mariners and added his fourth defeat of the 2022 Major League Baseball (MLB) campaign.
In four innings of work, E-Rod received six hits, two of them home runs, gave up five earned runs, gave away two walks and struck out five rivals.

The Venezuelan pitcher made 92 pitches, 57 of them located in the strike zone, after facing 21 batters.
After this presentation, the native of Valencia, Carabobo state, wears a 3-4 mark and an ERA of 4.17.

In addition to homers Julio Rodríguez and Ty France, Venezuelans Eugenio Suárez (76) and Abraham Toro (29) contributed an RBI each.
With this victory by shutout (7 to 0), the Mariners placed their mark at 73-58 to consolidate themselves in the second box of the wild card positions in the American League.
