Acuña Jr. returned with a pair of hits

The Venezuelan outfielder celebrated his election to the All-Star Game with his ninth double

After missing four games with a sore left foot, Venezuelan Ronald Acuña Jr. of the Atlanta Braves, hit a couple of positive hits this Friday in the Major Leagues (MLB).

On this Friday's game against the Cincinnati Reds, Acuña Jr. went 3-2, with his double nine of the season, and scored runs twice.

The return to action of the native of La Sabana, La Guaira state, occurred a day after learning that he was the player in the National League who received the most votes for the 2022 All-Star Game.

Thanks to popular support, "El Abusador", who represents the engine of the Braves, assured his participation and ownership in the mid-season classic, scheduled for July 19 at Dodgers Stadium.

As for tonight's game, the Braves had no problem comfortably (9-1) defeating the limping Reds.
