The native of Puerto Cabello, Carabobo state, has 177 home run hits in the Majors and was 18 short of equaling Asdrubal Cabrera to sneak into the Top 10 Venezuelan home run hits.
On this day, Altuve went 4-1 and reached 24 RBIs.
Thanks to a great offensive support, the Mexican José Urquidy placed his record at 6-3, after scoring the victory after six innings of work.
