Tiburones de la Guaira has been able to respond to the great commitment that lives in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP). This Friday night the sharks tied the final series 2-2 against Leones del Caracas.
Henry Blanco's men have won two consecutive victories at the Universitario de Caracas, having the same opportunities as the cats to become champions of the 2022/23 harvest.
Despite having started the series on the wrong foot, Sharks "did not let their guard down" and they hope to continue doing things well, it is the wish of Alcides Escobar who propelled the ninth team to victory, ending the night 3-2, with two doubles and the same number of RBIs.

“Here we are every day giving everything for everything on the field. We started 0-2 and thank God we were able to come back winning these two games”, the player told the LVBP press department.
Alcides, like his teammates, do not forget defeats and for this reason they have decided to continue drawing strength to fight Leones.
“Those two straight losses were tough, it's not easy in a short series. We had a meeting in which I told all the boys that we have a good team, that each one of us should look at each other, the fans support us and we have to give them a good show trying to do things well”, he concluded.
For this Saturday both teams will collide again in the UCV Park at 5:00 PM, the game corresponds to the fifth day of the series.
