Willy Adames of the Brewers and Taylor Ward of the Angels were named players of the week in the National and American Leagues on Monday, respectively.
Adames is the only Brewers hitter to be Player of the Week since the 2020 campaign began. Last week he hit four home runs. he hit .310 and has a 1.203 OPS.
Additionally, he excelled in the April 26 game against the Pirates. He had four hits, including two home runs, and tied a franchise record with seven RBIs.

For his part, Taylor Ward hit four home runs and hit .448 during the week. He also had two hits or more in four of his seven games.
He has an overall average of .400 and his OPS is 1.271, in 55 times at bat.
