The Venezuelan team announced the lineup with which they will face the United States national team in the quarterfinals of the World Baseball Classic (WBC).
Manager Omar López chose to incorporate the team with which he faced the Dominican Republic, once again having Gleyber Torres at bat, as well as the regulars Altuve, Acuña and Pérez.
The lineup will not have the participation of the captain of Team Venezuela, Miguel Cabrera, who did not receive permission to face the set of stars and stripes.
The information was released by Team Baseball through its account on the Instagram social network, where they shared the list of nine players who will join pitcher Martín Pérez in the diamond.
