The Venezuelan Miguel Cabrera (Miggy), of the detroi tigerst, connected this Thursday with three hits to reach 2.994 for life in the Major Leagues.

In his first at-bat of the day, Cabrera, 38, took a hit from Kansas City Royals starter Zack Greinke into the outfield at Kauffman Stadium.
