The Venezuelan Anthony Santander, figure of the Baltimore Orioles, hit his 24th home run of the 2022 Major League Baseball (MLB) campaign on Thursday.
In the first inning itself, the Margariteño followed in the footsteps of his teammate Cedric Mullins to extend the advantage of the Oropendola team.
According to Baseball Savant, the Venezuelan's connection posted an exit speed of 109.2 miles per hour and traveled 398 feet at Progressive Field.

With this hit from four corners, the powerful Venezuelan outfielder reached 74 RBIs in the campaign.
Santander was one homer and two RBIs away from equaling Eugenio Suárez, líderIt is from the Venezuelans in those departments in the MLB.

The also designated hitter is leaving the best numbers in his career in the considered "best baseball in the world."

For his part, Jesús Aguilar gave in to anxiety during his debut with the Orioles and struck out in three of his four at-bats.
The victory went to Kyle Bradish (3-5) after seven scoreless innings in which he allowed two hits, gave away three walks and fanned five rivals.

With this win (3-0), the Orioles (69-61) were 1.5 games out of third place in the American League wild card spots.
