The captain of the Venezuelan team, Miguel Cabrera, managed to make history in the World Baseball Classic (WBC) after his participation in the duel against Puerto Rico.
What happens is that the Creole star became the first player in history to participate in five editions of this contest.
The information was released by the MLB through its account on the social network Twitter, where they congratulated "Miggy" on this achievement.
"ETERNAL! Miguel Cabrera is the ONLY player in history to play in all five editions of the World Baseball Classic”, said the competition.
