Mercilessly! Magellan stormed the capital

In baseball, bad streaks lead to resounding victories and that was what Magallanes did this Monday at the UCV Park. “La Nave”, which added three stumbles in a row, unleashed all its power in the capital and beat the Lions 16-3 to put the particular series 3-1.

The electrics punished hairy starter Jefry Valdez, who could barely complete an inning of labor and received six runs on singles from Nellie Rodriguez, Leonardo Reginatto, Cade Gotta and Alberth Martinez.

Caracas moved its pieces, but after the first two episodes Magellan was already winning 8-0.

The capital's replacement straightened the course and was able to hang five zeros on the powerful Turkish slugger, while its offense discounted with three runs in the sixth by unknowable by Alexander Palma and Erick Castillo.

But it all fell apart for the long-haired in the eighth, when Magellan made six touchdowns. Home run by Carlos Pérez and doublets by Pablo Sandoval and Alberto González tied up any hope in the capital.

With the score 14-3, “la Nave” gave the final thrust in the ninth with two other lines pushed by Gabriel Noriega and “Tico” González.
