Yoshida and Murphy are the MVP of the week in MLB

Both players were decisive for their teams to have winning streaks

Masataka Yoshida y Sean Murphy they had outstanding performances with their teams in recent games. That is why both were selected as the most outstanding players of the week in Major League Baseball.

Yoshida was the offensive spark plug for the Boston Red Sox to win eight out of nine games. Those of the green monster are currently in fourth position in the East division of the American League.

The Japanese went 25-for-12, hit two home runs, drove in eight runs and currently has a .321 average. Plus, he's trailing a 16-game hitting streak.

For his part, the catcher of the Atlanta Braves, Sean Murphy, brought him the Most Valuable distinction in the National League. The mask was decisive for his team to lead the East division of the National League with a record of seven wins and three losses in the last 10 games.

Murphy hit .360, hit three home runs and drove in 12 runs in eight games with the Braves in the past week.
