Astros All-Star designated hitter Yordan Alvarez and Phillies outfielder Kyle Schwarber were named Players of the Month.
In the American League, Álvarez hit .418 in June, with nine home runs, 28 RBIs and 13 walks.
So far this season, the Cuban is second in home runs (23), fifth in RBIs (56) and first in slugging (.658).

But his signature moment came on June 22, when he hit a pair of homers over 400 feet against the Mets.
Schwarber did the same in the National League: he stole the show.
With All-Star Bryce Harper out indefinitely, Schwarber has shouldered the Phillies' offense. In June he hit .272 with 12 home runs and 27 RBIs.
The ranger helped Philadelphia to an 18-9 record in June, which puts them in contention for the postseason.
Individually, he leads the National League with 23 homers and 51 RBIs.
