The Braves announced Monday that they have agreed to a three-year contract extension with manager Brian Snitker to remain in charge of the team through 2025.
Snitker, 67, led the Braves to 101 wins to win the NL East for the fifth consecutive year in 2022. That, a year after leading the club to the fourth Series. World Cup in franchise history and the first since 1995.
Snitker was honored as the National League Manager of the Year in 2018 and was a finalist in both 2019 and 2022.

The manager has led six full seasons for the Braves after taking command on an interim basis on May 17, 2016.
In total, he has a record of 542-451 (.546) in charge of Atlanta, becoming the 138th manager to exceed 500 wins in Major League history, of which only 61 have won the World Series.
