Rodón will start the season on the disabled list

The left-hander presents a strain in the left forearm

Carlos Rodón will begin the regular season on the disabled list, due to a left forearm strain.

The information was provided this Thursday by Yankees manager Brian Cashman. The monticular will be without shooting for seven to 10 days.

Carlos Rodón agreed with the Yankees in the winter for six years and 162 million. But he has hardly been able to make a presentation in the preseason with the mules.

He allowed five runs in just over two innings against the Braves on Sunday.
