Juan Soto turns on the alarms in San Diego

The man from Santo Domingo was withdrawn from Sunday's game due to problems with the left oblique

After the failure of the Dominican Republic in the World Baseball Classic, Juan Soto returned to Spring Training with the San Diego Padres, but the welcome was not the best.

The San Diego Union-Tribune reported that the outfielder strained an oblique muscle on his left side on Sunday.

The one in Santo Domingo was withdrawn as a precautionary measure.

According to Las Mayores, his condition is currently day to day and further tests are expected.

Juan Soto, who was in doubt until the last minute, ended up being the best Dominican hitter in the World Classic. He hit. 500 with three doubles and two home runs.
