Aragua Tigers revealed the hiring of American pitcher Matt Solter, who becomes the second reinforcement of the franchise for the 2022-23 season of the LVBP.
The president of the Bengalis, Víctor Zambrano, explained that the right-hander comes from the Atlantic League, where he played with the Staten Island Ferry Hawks.
Solter, 29, was a prospect with the San Francisco Giants and the Cleveland Guardians.
This year in the Atlantic League he is 4-8 with a 3.64 ERA and striking out 73 opponents in 113.2 innings.

Solter joins countryman Adam Hofacket, who was the Tigers' first official import for the upcoming rent-a-ball season.
The Bengalis' season will start on October 22, when they visit Cardenales de Lara in the city of Barquisimeto.
