Zulia outfielder Robinson Cabrera joins Tigres de Aragua for the 2022-2023 season of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP).
"The expectation is great, I want to contribute all my talent to the team, play hard, give my best for the team and help them fight for the championship this year," said the Venezuelan, who had been out of the country for about seven years.
Robinson Cabrera saw action in the last edition of Major League Baseball with Caciques de Distrito, with whom he left a batting average of .329.

Before that, he played seven seasons in Colombian baseball and was even champion of the last Caribbean Series with Caimames de Barranquilla.
In the season in the neighboring country, Robinson Cabrera hit .321, the product of 45 hits in 140 at-bats, and drove in 32 runs.
“I have a lot to thank Colombia for. Four-time champion, most valuable player in a final, three Caribbean Series... a beautiful and unforgettable experience, ”said the Venezuelan, assuring that he is ready to battle in his land.
