LVBP reduced sanctions imposed for violent acts

The news was announced this Saturday through a statement issued on the entity's social networks

This Saturday the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League announced through a statement the reduction of the sentence imposed on the players and coaches for the violent acts that occurred in the Caracas-Magallanes duels, in Valencia.

As well as in the match between La Guaira-Anzoátegui, in Puerto La Cruz, on November 19.

The statement ensures that after reassessing the measures, the disciplinary committee studied the appeals against the sentences of those involved.

The committee lowered Asdrúbal Cabrera's (Caribes) suspension from 35 to 20 games, and José Torres Caribes from 2 to 1 game.

For his part, Edubray Ramos (Sharks), went from 40 suspension games to 20. Jasier Herrera (Sharks) will only be out for 2 games.

Regarding the sanctions issued for the events between Caracas-Magallanes in Valencia, the LVBP lowered Bruce Rondón's (Magallanes) suspension from 3 to 2 games.

While the helmsman of the Turkish ship Yadier Molina will have to pay only one meeting of the two that was initially ruled.

It should be noted that the reduction was only due to the number of matches, the monetary fines remain as in the beginning
