Eagles want to fly very high in 22-23

After an unsuccessful harvest, the Zulians started their preseason with their sights set on the round robin

The 2021-2022 season is not one of the most satisfactory for the Águilas del Zulia and their fans after they finished in penultimate place in the general table (overall record of 20 W and 29 P) to say goodbye to any option to enter the Round Robin in the month of January.

This Saturday at 10 am at the facilities of the Luis Aparicio "El Grande" stadium in Maracaibo, a new stage of the ninth raptor began, where manager Marco Davalillo will thoroughly supervise the first practice of his team, who want to turn the page of the poor performance in 21-22 to reapply as a strong candidate to fight for the Venezuelan Creole ball title.

Elvis Araujo, Mario Sánchez, Francisco Carrillo, Alejandro Meleán, José "Chino" Flores, Eudis Idrogo, Alexis Tapia, Carlos Betancourt, Luis Moncada, Jefferson Medina and Luis Cedeño are some of the pitchers who seek to gain the trust of Davalillo and his body technician within the regular round that begins on October 22.

While some of the position players who were present at the training session were Héctor Sánchez, José Álvarez, Ali Castillo, Ángel Reyes and Álex Romero.

An issue that is being handled within the Zulia board is the participation of Major League Baseball players, taking into account that many are on the MLB Extreme Fatigue list and could be recommended by their clubs not to play in the winter of our region such as the cases of Liván Soto and Andrés Chaparro.

Silvino Bracho will be in the country after serving Atlanta in the playoffs and Dominican Wilin Rosario is the club's third import after Mickey Jannis and Brandon Broshe.

Arsenio León and Andrés Pérez were invited to work with the campus.
