Manacho joined the Tigres de Aragua

The former pitcher is ready to get back to work on winter ball

Former major leaguer Oscar “Manacho” Henríquez is set to make a comeback in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP).

The former pitcher was appointed as president of the Tigres de Aragua Sports Committee for the 2022-2023 season.

The information was provided by the team's president, Victor Zambrano.

Manacho will work on the sports activities of the Aragonese team hand in hand with the presidency and sports management.

Manacho was in the Major Leagues between 1997 and 2002 with the Houston Astros, Florida Marlins and Detroit Tigers. But it was the winter league in Venezuela where he became a figure.

In 12 years on the local circuit, he accumulated 163 innings, 168 strikeouts and an ERA of 3.24.
