Leones del Caracas has a new import

The new long-haired slugger has experience in two LVBP teams and in the Mexican league

Reynaldo Rodríguez is the first import confirmed by the Leones del Caracas for the 2022-2023 season.

This news was confirmed by the long-haired group in a publication through their social networks.

Rodríguez will play in Venezuela with his third team after having been in the ranks of the Navegantes del Magallanes for two seasons and the Águilas del Zulia also for two campaigns.

The Colombian has accumulated 151 games in the LVBP in which he has 188 hits, with 24 home runs, a batting average of .340, and 98 RBIs.

He is currently playing for the Tigres de Quintana Roo in Mexico, a team in which he has had an outstanding season.

With the Mexican team Rodríguez has participated in 84 games, with 19 home runs, 70 RBIs, 106 hits, 17 stolen bases and an average of .326.

In the last edition of the Caribbean Series, the Colombian was designated as the "Most Valuable" after a great performance with the Caimanes de Barranquilla.

In addition, he has also been part of the All-Star Game lineup in the Mexican Baseball League.
