Dominican pitcher José Valdéz uniformed this Wednesday with Bravos de Margarita and is ready to reappear in the LVBP after two years of absence.

José Valdéz has not played in Venezuela since the 2019 campaign, when he uniformed with Cardenales de Lara. On that occasion he went 0-1 with a 9.00 ERA in three games, two as a starter.
He had debuted in the LVBP a year earlier with the Tigres de Aragua shirt. He then saw action in six games and posted a 10.13 earned run average.
Insular management is confident that José Valdéz can bring his experience to insular pitching, whose ERA is the second highest in the tournament at 5.75.
