Dominican rookie Julio Rodriguez of the Seattle Mariners surpassed a record for stolen bases set by his compatriot Fernando Tatis Jr.
According to The majors, Rodríguez, 21, is the Dominican with the most stolen bases (9) during his first month of April in the Major Leagues (MLB).
In that sense, the native of Loma de Cabrera, Dominican Republic, left behind the record of six scams achieved by Tatis Jr. in 2019.

In his first month in the "Big Show," the Dominican ranger is batting .234 with 18 hits, one of them a home run, in 77 at-bats. Plus, he has nine RBIs.
Julio Rodríguez, the most sought-after prospect of the Seattle Sailors, earned a spot on the Opening Day roster during preseason.
"The time has come for Julio Rodriguez to play in the Majors," manager Scott Servais said.

"As I've been saying in every interview like this, it's a dream come true now," Rodríguez said after hearing the news about his promotion to MLB.
