The best Latino prospect in the MLB showed his ability to steal bases

Dominican rookie Julio Rodriguez of the Seattle Mariners surpassed a record for stolen bases set by his compatriot Fernando Tatis Jr.

According to The majors, Rodríguez, 21, is the Dominican with the most stolen bases (9) during his first month of April in the Major Leagues (MLB).

In that sense, the native of Loma de Cabrera, Dominican Republic, left behind the record of six scams achieved by Tatis Jr. in 2019.

In his first month in the "Big Show", the Dominican ranger batted .234 product of 18 hits, one of them a home run, in 77 at-bats. Also, he has nine RBIs.

Julio Rodríguez, the most sought-after prospect of the Seattle Sailors, earned a spot on the Opening Day roster during preseason.

"The time has come for Julio Rodriguez to play in the Majors," manager Scott Servais said.

"As I had been saying in every interview like this, it's a dream that comes true now," Rodríguez said after hearing the news about his promotion to the MLB.

 "The work of your whole life is in this moment, it's something incredible," he said.

The last
