Juan Soto avoids the disabled list

The Dominican baseball player expressed feeling better about the ailment in his left calf

The Dominican Juan Soto, figurative of the Washington nationals, managed to momentarily evade the disabled list this Monday.

The 23-year-old outfielder underwent an MRI on Monday after leaving Sunday's game with discomfort in his left calf.

“Today I feel better and I hope to feel better tomorrow too. And from there, we will see, "said Soto, who this Monday took a turn as a pinch hitter in the Marlins-Nats duel.

Despite registering, for now, the lowest average of his career, Juan Soto has 15 home runs in 2022 and leads the Major Leagues (MLB) in bases per ball received (68).

This season, the Nats star player reached 100 homers, 500 hits and 12 multi-homer games in his nascent MLB career.
