Denis Phipps has been the real crane for the Tigers

Since his first foray into Venezuelan soil, Denis phipps it has become one of the most profitable imports of the LVBP, first with Caribes de Anzoátegui; then with Cardenales de Lara and since this season with Tigres de Aragua, with whom he has exploded in this first half of the Round Robin.

Bruce Rondón has lost his compass in the postseason

The native of San Pedro de Macorís has a line of .448/.543/.793/1.336, being for now the only hitter in this round robin with an OPS over 1.300, in addition, he leads these semifinals in home runs (3); which makes him the fifth most homered imports in the postseason (9), matching the number of John Cotton, John Bateman; and being only surpassed by Adonis García (10) and Félix Pérez (11).

Still, those nine strikes represent the most in the past seven postseasons by any import; even his three homers with the Tigres uniform are the fourth highest number for a foreigner from the Aragüeño team; sharing a figure with Jorge Vásquez, Lastings Milledge, Derrick Gibson, Enos Cabell and George Arias; being only surpassed by Adrian Garrett and Jorge Cortés, both with four; Michael Ryan with five and Alfredo Marte with six.

Similarly, Phipps is one HR away from equaling his most in a postseason edition, having dispatched four in 16-17. Divided into three in the 1st round and one in the semifinals.
