The Venezuelan catcher Willson Contreras He had a great performance this Friday at Spring Training. The Venezuelan was key in the beating of his team, the St. Louis Cardinals, 16-2 over the Miami Marlins.
Contreras went 3-for-2 with two RBIs.
The Red Birds bat party started in the second episode. The Venezuelan was the first batter of the inning and singled before being driven to home innings later.

Contreras is batting .318 in 22 at-bats in current spring training and is shaping up to start with his new team starting on Opening Day.
