Carlos Rodón performed throwing routine

The pitcher threw 45, 60, 75 and 90 feet in this first session after suffering his injury

The pitcher recently signed by the New York Yankees, Carlos Rodón, performed a pitching routine this Friday after the injury he suffered in early March.

The information was released by the manager of the Yankees, Aaron Boone, as reported by the journalist Bryan Hoch through his account on the social network Twitter.

Rodón suffered a mild strain in his left elbow, so the team has treated the pitcher's return to the mound rather cautiously.

The pitcher threw 45, 60, 75 and 90 feet in this first session after suffering his injury.

"I felt good. I am definitely heading in the right direction,” Rodón told NJ Advance Media.
