Texas went ahead in the second inning with a double by Josh Smith, but Cleveland woke up; and in what way, making each of his nine runs in the fourth section. There Andrés Giménez scored his 68th run of the season, thanks to a single from his compatriot Gabriel Arias, who ended the day 4-1 with a record and two hits to the plate.

Later, the Guardians' arms combined to tame opposing bats. Only in the ninth inning were they able to score with a double by Ezequiel Durán that brought Evan Carter home. However, Nick Sandlin squeezed his arm to get the final three outs and complete the sweep at the former Jacobs Field.

However, José Ramírez hit a home run in four at-bats, scoring and two RBIs. Ramón Laureano went 3-for-2 with a run scored. And Steven Kwan was 5 for 2 with a double, hit and RBI.
