The Canadian team defeated the United States national team 127-118 to win the bronze medal at the 2023 Basketball World Cup.
The team managed to gain an important advantage against the Americans by achieving a very positive first and third quarter in which they exceeded 30 points.
Team USA led by Steve Kerr, for its part, won the second and last quarter, although they were unable to turn the game in their favor.

The most important figure of the game was Dillon Brooks, who had a dream game with 39 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists. He was followed by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with 31 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists.
For the United States, Anthony Edwards established himself as the best scorer with 24 points, while Austin Reaves managed to score 23 points for his team.
