Guaros de Lara made the most of his location in the Bolivarian Dome and prevailed with authority 96-64 before Pipers of Zulia.
The young Venezuelan Allan Cabrera lived a spectacular offensive night registering a double-double with 19 points and 11 assists, in addition to three rebounds and two steals.
Guaros was always able to lead the match overwhelmingly, winning the four sets 34-8, 24-11, 16-15 and 22-30.
In addition to Cabrera, Yoeser Varela also stood out with 17 points, two rebounds and four assists, and Heldrin Guillent with 15 points.

For Gaiteros, Maolin Colina stood out with 15 points and Jorge Rondón with a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds.
This is the third win of the season for Guaros de Lara, who with a 3-7 record is last in the western division of the Western Conference.
Gaiteros, meanwhile, left his record at 4-6 and equals with Brillantes.
