Alfredo Madrid will be in charge of leading the team in the Professional Super League

The integration of the Superliga with the Professional Basketball League (LPB) will define a new era in Venezuelan sports and Toros de Aragua intends to set the standard and be the protagonist in this new story.

In that sense, the team announced this Friday Alfredo Madrid as its coach for the 2022 campaign, which is scheduled to start on July XNUMX.

Madrid was champion in the second edition of the Superliga with Trotamundos de Carabobo, who beat Guaiqueríes de Margarita in the final.

"It is an honor to wear this shirt," said the strategist in statements shared by the team.

"Not only do we seek to be a competitive team, but a team that makes history in this new era," he added without hesitation.

Committed to the organization

Madrid, who has extensive experience in the training categories, confessed that he is "eager to start working" and make the Toros a truly competitive team.  

“I have always seen Toros from the opposite side, I have noticed that it is an organization committed to its players and its fans. I want to seek the spirit of competition to be in the first places and opt for the title”, said the boss.
