In an electrifying game from start to finish Girardot bullfighting they equaled their semifinal series against Cayenas de Carabobo after winning 83-80.
Match held at the Mauricio Johnson Gymnasium in the city of Maracay, leaving their series at 1-1.
In the first half, the hostesses jumped onto the court with great intensity, taking their guests by surprise, with an advantage of 10 units in the middle of the period (18-8).
But the visit would not sit idly by and with a triple and two free throws scored by Ivaney Márquez, Cayenas managed to recover from the bad start and finished down just three points (20-17).
During the second set, Taurinas increased their advantage in the score, thanks to Endrina Bolívar, who lit up in attack and managed to contribute eight points.
After halftime, the visitors tried to get back into the game with long distance shots.
Márquez and Yosimar Corrales took control of the Carabobo offense, contributing 12 of the 23 units for their team.
But Taurinas always responded and was able to stay up 59-52 heading into the final 10 minutes.
An inspired Yosimar Corrales scored 13 points in the fourth quarter for his team to take the lead by one (79-80) with just over a minute to play.

But the hostesses knew how to act in pressing moments and with two free throws by Ayalexis Ylarraza and a basket by Enyerlin Silva they won.
For Bullfighting Endrina Bolívar was the most outstanding with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
While Ylarraza and Silva contributed 14 and 13 units, respectively.
Corrales top scorer with 29 counts and 8 catches. Márquez posted a double double of 17 points and 15 rebounds, along with 7 assists.
