The overwhelming start of Guaros continues. The Larenses defeated Centauros de Portuguesa 73-68 on Tuesday to improve their record to 4-1 and storm first place in the Western Conference.
Guaros started the game at full speed and had an advantage of up to 11 points. Although Centauros was able to react, the home team closed the first quarter up 25-20.
Those from Portuguesa won the second (19-20) and third quarter (12-16) to reach the final 10 minutes tied at 56. But Guaros managed to impose his game at the right moment, showing a solid defense.

Rodney Green and José Vargas were the atifices of the victory, the first with 21 points and five rebounds and the second with 17 points and six boards. Heissler Guillent contributed 12 cards.
For Centauros, who left his record at 2-3, the best was Elder Gimenez with a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds.
