The Venezuelan basketball player, Guadalupe Díaz, became the new reinforcement of the Quimsa of the Argentine Women's Basketball League.
The Creole already joined the institution on Tuesday after her quick agreement, which was given thanks to the great performance she maintained during the Venezuelan Basketball Super League, where she rose as one of the best in the contest.
Díaz arrives at Quimsa to replace Lucía Boggetti, who suffered a meniscal impingement in her left knee, for which she will be away from the little boards for several months.
Quimsa is currently in first place in their group and with a guaranteed ticket to the Super 4 (semifinal round), which will begin on December 17.
"I am grateful to God and to everyone for being here, for this experience, learning in this new destination, adapting to changes, the weather and everything that being here implies," Guadalupe told Diario Yaracuy al Día.
"My expectations are high, because I am in a team that rebounds with seven games won and one lost," he added.
