Anthony Pérez sets course for Uruguayan basketball

The forward will have his second chance abroad after playing for the Soles de Mexicali

The Venezuelan basketball player, Anthony Pérez, reached an agreement with the Biguá Basketball Club of Uruguay to strengthen their ranks for the next season.

The news was released by the team through the stories of their account on the Instagram social network, where they announced the hiring of the 2.06-meter forward.

Pérez established himself as one of the most important figures within Gladiadores de Anzoátegui last season of the Professional Basketball Super League (SPB) in order to win the championship title.

With Gladiadores, the forward averaged 11.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 0.9 blocks in 37 games played within the SPB.

This becomes the second international experience for the 30-year-old Venezuelan, since he had previously been part of the Soles de Mexicali in the Mexican basketball league.

Pérez also becomes Club Biguá's second reinforcement for the coming season with the aim of being able to win the title of his country after being a semifinalist last season.

The announcement supports the great campaign of Pérez, who also returned to defend the colors of the Venezuelan team after several years absent.
