Tristan Thompson returns to the Cleveland Cavaliers and does so 3 years after leaving the team in which he played the first 9 seasons of his NBA career and with which he won the ring in 2016.
Both parties already have an agreement for one season between the 32-year-old veteran center and his former team, according to Shams Charania (The Athletic).
Thompson played 6 playoff games with the Lakers last season after being without a team throughout the regular season.
The player, with 730 games under his belt, has accumulated 11 seasons in the NBA after being chosen in position 4 in the draft in 2011.

After leaving the Cavaliers, his professional career became erratic, with stays in the Celtics, Bulls, Pacers, Kings and Lakers.
The new Cavaliers acquisition will provide experience in the center position, being able to help the team's young values.
