Jazz took advantage of Doncic's absence

Lauri Markkanen led Utah's victory with 29 points

Utah took advantage of Mavericks star Luka Doncic being absent from Saturday's game to defeat franchise Dallas 108-100 at Vivint Smart Home Arena.

Doncic, one of the most outstanding players, is out due to a sprained ankle. Given this fact, the Jazz felt more free on the court and took advantage of their opponents' weaknesses.

From the first moment Lauri Markkanen suffocated the Mavericks, and it is that the locals were fierce from the beginning, being up on the scoreboard by 66-48.

At halftime, Jason Kidd's men tried to defend themselves with everything, but the precise shot was the Achilles heel, while the Jazz obtained greater concentration on free throws, triples and defensive rebounds.

Despite the fact that in the third quarter the visitors scored more points (84-76).

It wasn't long before the Jazz finished savoring their 26th victory of the season with the pending task of improving the record to move up in position.

The job was done and the Utahs simply did not let the game get out of hand, ending the game 108-100.
