Chicago Bulls prevailed against Celtics

The bulls were led by DeMar DeRozan who was the top scorer of the match with 28 points

The Bulls needed a victory like this. After four straight losses, the Chicago Bulls raised their heads to beat the Boston Celtics 107-121.

The first few minutes were a trial and error between the two, but from then on they took the lead so as not to lose such a prestigious position until regulation time expired.

They had no surprises along the way. In the second quarter they opened up a 15-point lead that reached 21 at the beginning of the third.

Already in the last 12 minutes the greens came closer, but timidly and without being able to disturb some Bulls who played one of the best games so far this season.

Led by 28 points from DeMar DeRozan, they ended the Boston Celtics' nine-game winning streak yesterday.

Zach LaVine scored 22 points, Nikola Vucevic added 12 and 13 rebounds for Chicago, which also beat the Celtics at home in October.

At 13-4, the Celtics still have the best record in the NBA.

After trailing by as many as 21 points in the third quarter, Boston cut the deficit to 10 with 4:49 to play, but couldn't overcome the hurdle.

For the rest of the day:

Hawks vs. Cavaliers (102-114)

Magic vs. Pacers (102-123)

Blazers vs. Bucks (111-119)

Warriors vs. Pelicans (83-128)

Knicks vs. Thunder (129-119)

Jazz vs. Clippers (114-121)
