Antetokounmpo commanded another Bucks triumph

The Greek averaged 41 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists

Giannis Antetokounmpo celebrated his election as captain in the upcoming All-Star Game on Friday with a 41-point performance in the Milwaukee Bucks' 141-131 win over the Indiana Pacers.

In Indiana, the Pacers tried everything to stop Antetokounmpo, who displayed his most dominant version with 41 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists.

The only Achilles heel of the Greek was again the free throws. The Pacers took him to the line again and again and the power forward was only able to convert 7 of 18 attempts (39%).

Even so, Antetokounmpo never let the victory of the Bucks be in jeopardy, who had already added 85 points at halftime, to 56 for their rival.

For the locals, center Myles Turner was the top scorer with 24 points and Dominican guard Chris Duarte scored 17 and a colorful basket in which he faked Antetokounmpo, made a self-pass using the backboard and scored with a layup.

Despite the fact that the Bucks scored fewer points in the third quarter, their extraordinary work in the first half was not overshadowed and they stayed up 114-99.

Those from Indiana ended up turning on the accelerator with the hope of turning the game around, however, the rival made the task very uphill and unfortunately they were left with the defeat.

For the rest of the day:

  • Timberwolves 111- Grizzlies
  • Thunder 112-100 Cavaliers
  • Heat 110-105 Magic
  • Warriors 129-117 Raptors
