Kevin Durant will be out for three weeks

The forward suffered an ankle injury during warmups against the Thunder

The Phoenix Suns received negative news for the second half of the NBA regular season, as it was confirmed that basketball player Kevin Durant will be away from the courts due to injury.

According to the team, the forward underwent an MRI to check for the ankle injury he suffered during warmups prior to the game against the Oklahoma Thunder.

The tests determined that Durant will have to remain out for at least three weeks due to this fact, which would allow him to barely be available for the last 10 games of the season.

Since his arrival at the Arizona franchise, the former Brooklyn Nets player has barely been able to play three games due to the injury he had already been experiencing since New York.

The ankle injury came just the day they would finally play their first home game at the Footprint Center.

In the three games with the team he has an average of 26.7 points and 69% accuracy in his shots with the Suns.
