The center, selected for the second best defensive five of 2022, has missed 44 games in the 2022-23 season due to different physical problems. The last one was a hamstring injury.

But everything seems to indicate that he is ready to return.
At least that's how Gary Washburn reported it from The Boston Globe, who noted that Williams is available to play starting this Tuesday.
This season he is averaging 8,4 points, 8,6 rebounds, 1,5 assists and 1,2 blocks. His continued input can elevate the Celtics' game.
