The current MVP of the Professional Basketball Super League (SPB) and player of the Venezuelan national team, Heissler Guillent, is the new reinforcement of the Sesi Franca Basquetbol Club for the 2023-24 season of the New Basketball of Brazil (NBB, for its official acronym), which will begin this coming October 21, with its 16th edition.

"The tailor"; who averaged 17.6 points per game with Guaros de Lara in the 2023 SPB regular contest, played his second FIBA Basketball World Cup with Venezuela, in which he accumulated 9.6 points, 1.8 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game throughout his 111 minutes in the great fair of the “sport of heights”.
Now, the Franca; who has just won two NBB championships in a row, will debut against Sao Paulo on the 21st of next month. But, it should be noted that a couple of matches will be played between 13 and 15, in order to contribute to the performance of the Brazilian team that will participate in the Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile and not harm the five teams that will contribute players to the event.
Thus, Heissler Guillent will now be a teammate of Lucas Dias and Georginho De Paula, who shone with Brazil in the last World Cup basketball tournament, and whom he also faced in the friendly between Venezuela and Brazil on August 23 in Melbourne, Australia.
