Venezuelan Gregory Echenique who plays for the Firebonds team of the Japan Basketball League set his scoring record after 4.000 points on Sunday.
Echenique arrived at the professional basketball of the Nippon nation in 2019, playing for the Hiroshima Dragonflies team.
The Venezuelan joined the Fukushima Firebonds last season from the Hiroshima city club.
