After much controversy and offensive downturns, the Astros have come back in an extraordinary way a series that three days ago it seemed the Rays were going to sweep. This Friday, with a brilliant work by Framber Valdez, the sidereal won 7-4 to tie the American League Championship Series and force the seventh and decisive game.

The Dominican tied up Tampa Bay for 6.0 innings, allowing them just three hits and a touchdown in the second inning thanks to a Willy Adames double. He walked away three but struck out nine to enforce his law and posted a 2.25 ERA.

On the other side of the curb, Cy Young Blake Snell managed to silence Houston for four episodes, but the sidereal slug found the key to doing damage and began a definitive attack in the fifth inning.

With a double from Venezuelan José Altuve, and hits from George Springer and Carlos Correa, they manufactured a four-run cluster to turn the board.

In the sixth Kyle Tucker added one more with a home run to left field and an inning later they drove in the last two on a single by Michael Brantley and a sacrifice fly by Tucker himself.

Nothing else was needed to stop the Rays, who could barely hit six hits, two of them homers by Manuel Margot -in the seventh and eighth innings- to discount with three runs.

Valdez was credited the victory, Snell carried the loss and again Ryan Pressly was credited the save.

The "Astroboy", who began the postseason with many reproaches around, has been the spark plug of this team and this Friday he was decisive again by finishing 3-2 with a couple of walks, two runs scored and an RBI. His average was .455.

The Astros are now, along with the 2004 Red Sox, the only teams that manage to force a seventh game after trailing 3-0 in the series. In that single precedent, the red-legged ones beat the Yankees and then swept the San Luis Cardinals in the World Series.
