Galvez, 29, was one of Lara's Cardinals' top bats in the 2019-2020 regular round, hitting .289 / .373 / .437 with eight doubles, four home runs, 22 RBIs. and .810 from OPS, in 38 challenges.

But after going blank in five at-bats in the first playoff round, he was replaced for the semifinals, although he would later accompany the Red Birds to the 2020 San Juan Caribbean Series.

Galvez, a right hitter, can defend first and left field.

The 27-year-old Gomez pitched until 2019 on the Kansas City Royals' farms and over the winter he did a couple of relays with the Tigres del Licey. He is a starter, but he can also serve as a reliever, and has 565 Minor League innings, with a 4.32 ERA.
